It is that time of year where many of us take the time to reflect on our blessings and extend our gratitude to all. So many great things have to  happened at  Merwin during the past few years, and I think it’s appropriate to thank our students, families, staff, and community partners for helping make Merwin a place any parent would be proud to send their child. To our students, thank you for adjusting so well to the new school procedures and our constant academic demands. To our parents, thank you for trusting our professional judgment and for supporting our changes and learning initiatives. Most of all, thank you for supporting your children in their learning and development. To our teachers and support staff, your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed. You know the academic needs of each child and build academic interventions and enrichment programs to address their needs. Without each and every one of you Merwin would not have earned the recognitions of California Distinguished School, Title 1 Academic Achieving school and a US healthier school silver award.  So thank you again for your support and hard work as all of us continue to ensure that our students have the skills they need to achieve their dreams.
